I don't have a picture yet but I will be sure to post one as soon as I get it back from the watch repair shop. I recently inherited this antique GP from my grandfather. My grandmother had held onto it for about 20 years after his death. I took it to the watch repair shop for cleaning and service. I discovered it was rusted in parts so it is being fixed as we speak. In approx. 10 days I should have it back. In any event, I was given numbers from the inside of the watch: caseback number- 6679 it also says 17 jewels, GP Swiss, and another number: 46(a b or an 8)E and then seperate is 631. If anyone could do anything with this information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! |

Might you be able to suggest a book or reference I could use to discover the date? Pics will be up around the 20th when I get the watch back. |
