I am interested in finding out approxiamtely how much my Vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual is worth. I have been told that it was made in 1944 but I am not sure. I have been unable to locate via the web any information on it based on the serial number and reference numbers of:

Serial No= "340381"
Ref No = "6569"
Made of "Stainless Steel"

It is a little worn, but other than that, is in great working condition.Picture

It isn't a 1944 watch. After 1M, Rolex for better or worse went back to 0 for serial numbers, so you're looking at a 1.3M serial, probably around 1958-1959. The exact date will be stamped inside the case back by quarter and year, like III 59.

Value is probably aorund $900-1000.
