I have a pocket watch from my father that was given to him by his father - It was won in 1916 - Record Watch Co - Swiss - 23 jewels - 4 adjustments - Bowdoin case #9082559 running fairly well - Could anyone tell me anything about this watch and maker and approximate value? Thanks!

I do not find a marking so I would guess gold filled -

Record is a reasonably nice Swiss maker, but not really on collector's radar screen. It seems it has a fairly nice movement but if it's a gold filled Swiss pocket, value is probably around $100, $150 tops.

I collect wrist watches. I have a Record wristwatch that I bought about six months ago which is my personal favorite because it shows: 1.the day of the week 2 the month of the year and 3 the day of the month.
