I recently found a pocket watch that I believe was my grandfathers. The watch face has Metropolitan Watch Co. (New York) on it, as well as on the inside. It is a key wound watch. There is a number on the inside - 253648. The watch case is a Wadsworth 360444. I have looked many places to find when it was made and its worth, but have not found anything about the Metropolitan Watch Company. Is this a rare watch, or pretty common?? | ||

Sorry, I'm not sure what it is. It's sounds like an obscure American pocket watch brand, but pocket are not my strong suit. |
