Hi

About 20 years ago I was given this watch by my uncle who was given it by an aristocratic elderly lady in London. Over the years i've come across it as i've moved house and this time I thought i'd try and find out something about it and whether it had a resale value. The watch works perfectly.

My uncle was told by the lady that the watch was 1930's and was bought from H.L. Brown, one of Yorkshire's leading specialist jewellers for more than 140 years. I cannot find out much online about Bonheur, only that the watch is "Swiss made" Has anyone ever heard of Bonheur? Please go to www.kismet.in to view some photo's of the watch. Any information on Bonheur and advice on its relative value would be much appreciated.

Many thanks
Nicola

Hello, the watch part of this item is a generic swiss component. As a watch it is not worth much. So your items will value more as a piece of jewelry that happens to have a watch in it. Wether or not that is very much above the scrap value of the gold, is more for a jeweler that deals in vintage jewelry to decide.
