Hi ZAF What about this one ? What is your expert advice on value ? 18k , cal 464 probably, from the 40's ? (I don't have movement numbers yet as watch will arrive next week). I think that it is one of the early ones, as it does have indexes instead of numbers. Am I right ? The moonphase one did reach 6 739 at the artcurial sale last december, but I won't consider this crazy auction as representative so your input is very appreciated

Well, I paid $2300 for this one: http://www.vintagewatchpriceguide.com/graphics/images/watches/mpta3330.jpg 18k Pink gold, very nice two tone dial, much nicer than in the picture. I suspect the price has gone up a little? Let's call it in the $2500 and up range. |

Hi Clavi! What the hell is going on with you, a triple date watch has no alarm feature. The cal. 464 is definately earlier then a 484, but there also is a 451, suposed to be the very first movement of this kind. I saw 18k triple dates selling at EUR 2300 to 2500, depending on condition. Anyway, congratulations for your newest beauty, excellent taste! Ilja

Hi Zaf and Ilja ! Thanks for the info. I will check the cal ref and serial numbers when I get it next week hopefully. This was a lucky "buy it now" snap for a small 600!! I guess it was my lucky day ! |
