Hi,
Does anyone know the value of a Rolex Oyster Royal. 9k gold plated and stamped/assayed 1942. I am told the movement is a Hunter 15. The condition is seemingly very good and is in perfect working order.
Thanks and regards
PG

I don't have any record of any sales on 9k Royals. The steel ones go for around $700-800. 9k is probably worth a little more than steel, so lets call it $900 to $1100 as a ballpark figure adjusted my condition and originality, etc.

Hang on, re-reading you post, it is solid 9k or 9k plate? If it is plated, it will be worth less than steel, so something like $600-700, less if the palting is worn through anywhere.

Any help on age/value of this Rolex Oyster Royal
It's a 17 jewel cal 700 model 2280 movement and the case is SS. Buckle is original, but strap is replacement.

About $500 to $800 depending on condition. These are typically a smaller size and the market for smaller watches is not that hot right now.
