I came across a gold plated(filled?) pocket watch and am interested in learning about it. I was fascinated by it as soon as I saw it. I am a huge Train buff and it reminded me of the pocket watches ticket takers would carry.
The two back covers have a crown and scales, what is the meaning of this marking? All three doors have the number 78094 does this designate housing style? The (movement?) mechanical piece inside is marked with the winged hourglass, the numbers 230810 and the name LONGINES. Any info, links to books or history lesson would be great.

Cheers
