I am curious about a watch a friend gave me about 20 years ago.

It is a "wind-up", brushed gold tone women's Lucien Piccard "Luccard". It is a one piece design, that is the bracelet and the watch case are one piece. The case is "tank shape" rectangular. The back of the case reads: Luccard by Lucien Piccard Gilt??? Switzerland. An internet search for this make and model did not reveal a thing. I can upload a picture if that would help. Just want to know how old it is, if it is worth holding onto or not. To be quite honest, this watch is rather ugly....

Thanks for any info you can offer.

We get some Lucien Picard (which was promarily a nameplate for the US market) now and then. They're fine moderately priced watches, but they're not really on avid collector's radar screen. So if your watch is not solid gold, it's probably worth $75 to $150....depending on how *really* ugly it is!
