I have an Elgin 17 Jewel Swiss Movement "Shockmaster". I've looked everywhere I can think of to find information on this watch but have come up mostly empty-handed. It doesn't have a standard Elgin serial number on the movement, and instead has just "643". I believe it is 10k gold as well. Any information that anyone could shed on this watch would be greatly apreciated. Thank you for your time!

Jason

PS: I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures, but my cheap little digital camera won't focus up close so I had to use a lense.

I assumed as much, I was looking more for information about the watch, when it was made, and things such as this. I didn't expect that it would be worth much, but it was my father's and I was just curious.

Thank you very much,
Jason

Probably early 1960s. You should be able to see when Elgin started using Swiss movements and that will narrow the date down a little more.
