I forgot to mention but I couldn't find any gold content marking anywhere but the small scratches on the sides appear to be deep enough that it must be a type of solid gold. Hope this helps.

Using a magnifying glass I was able to see:

1/10 10K GFP TOP and 1/50 10K GFP ENDS on the tips of the strap. I hope this helps to establish the age and value.

Probably 1960s, gold filled smallish, this sort of thing is soft, $50-100 at the most.

I have an Elgin watch SN# 1385197, B.W. RAYMOND, Condition good, I wound three times and watch worked, I did not SET TIME since I know nothing of the watch and fucntions. The case appears to be of steel. I do not know how to tell the difeerence. The watch wa a family memebers who operated Heavey equipment or farm equipment. Im hoping to find a fair apprasial value.
