On the inside watch mechanism is inscribed:
528
seventeen jewels
Swiss
54030438

On the inside of the back cover is inscribed:
LONGINES
9218-528
R4449
E68KY
384CY

Can you please tell me how old this watch is and its' value? Also, what do the various numbers mean?

Thanks so much

It'll be low near, the diamond value and say +$50. It's not a popular style and the case is plated as such, demand for something like this will be low.
