I stumbled on this cricket -- I had seen the lug design before, and the face design before, but not on the same watch. All appears original - down to the crown... runs like a top, tough it likely needs a service... Case is in as good as condition as the dial -- save a couple of the lugs are bent out of true... to find a jeweler to bend them back without shearing one off...
... by the way -- of course, you were right about the Gubelin dial being two-tone (perhaps 2-metal texture?) and not pie pan. (as I discovered upon receipt). If this is 2-texture metal, I wonder if the dial might be cleaned without refinishing?
