I could try and run it through Omega Archive search.

did the 30 T2 come in a 17 jewel version?

I've seen 15 and 16 jewel before...

Normally the 30 T2 with center seconds is either 16 or 17 jewels. Does it say 18?

The movement caliber will be found either on one of the main plates, or for older movements, under the balance wheel. You can loupe it near that area, it is easier to spot if the watch isn't running.

The movement definitely states 18 jewels.

Unfortunately, I do not have the watch in my possession at present to check for the caliber.
