I own an older Mondaine Man's Wristwatch. It is a 25 Jeweled, Automatic Movement housed in a steel case. The watch needs a new dial. Is this watch worth restoring? Are N.O.S. dials still available from Mondaine, the Offical Swiss Railways Watch Company?

By new dial do you mean it needs to be repainted or it is missing? This is not a brand on the collector's radar, so it is probably not worth spending a lot of money on.

Hi Zaf,
Thanks for the quick reply. By N.O.S. I mean a new dial. Someone has badly repainted the original dial. I thought that perhaps Mondaine in Switzerland might still have stock on this dial. However, if I knew where to send the old dial, I could remove it and send it in to be restored.

In the US, Kirk Dial in Los Angeles and Kirk Dial in Seattle are pretty good. It'll be around $60 to refinish it but they only take dials not entire watches.
