I got this at a yard sale for. I know nothing about watches. It runs, but no crystal. It says Tavannes Watch Co. The part that covers the guts has a number - either 677824 or 877824. Can't tell. There is an odd stamp of a woman with the word Diana stamped under. The case is pretty wildy decorated. Any ideas?
Thanks. tavannes

I don't see any marking to indicate gold quantity. Don't know where to look. Any idea of the age? I gave her 17 dollars for it...Probably brass...

Looks like circa 1900-1910. Can't go wrong at $17.

Inside of the back cover should indicate what it is made of.

The inside of the back cover is blank except for three or four minute, (had to use a mag. glass), handscribed letter number combos - one of them being h7024
Scoured this thing looking for something else - no luck.
