I am trying to find out information on a watch given to me years ago, at this point I am willing to sell it or insure it. I do know that the watch originated in a diamond cutters jewelry shop in Amsterdam, this person is now deceased and his business is now closed. It is marked on the clasp as 14k gold. Also, inside the cover "14k 0,585".
Also, inside is "Six Unadjusted 6 Jewels Swiss V8 978 001". I am not a jeweler and no one I have shown it to in the USA has had any info on it.
I do not know what any of the markings mean and do not know the exact weight on the peice but it is 6.75 inches end to end the face is .75 inch. Thanking anyone in advance for advice,
Sherri

On something like this, the value is going to be near the value of the gold. Sold like a private jewler's brand and as a quartz ladies piece, it isn't all that collectible.
