I have no clue about watches. This was my grandfathers and I googled it for interest. Seems it might be of better quality than I thought. On the front (I'm sorry I don't have a tape measure) it says Bertmar Automatic then below it says 25 Jewels. It's case appears to be gold with interlocing gold and silver pieces forming the band (interesting ability to expand and contract to suit any size). It is hand wound and in excellent condition, few small scratches but useable. I'm curious mostly if this is a true antique of if I can return to using it for day to day wear. Bertmar

Unless it is gold (it looks like gold electro plate to me), it has very little commercial value.
