I have a vintage men's Bulova 23 jewel self-winding waterproof shock resistant six adjustment watch. It is the rectangular face with small second hand at bottom. There appears to be no writing on the back of the case. It looks like gold or gold filled. Is there a way to tell? Just trying to get an idea of value before I take it to the antique shop to sell.

Hi, there should be a way to tell if it is gold of Gold filled. If it isn't so stamped on the outside, the insides of the case back will indicate which metal.
