Hello. Would anyone know of a source for Hamilton Model 21 Marine chronometer number plates? I am talking about the ones which appeared outside in front and on the inside bottom of the wooden case. I would need a set as per the attached image, and before having just anyone engrave them, I was wondering if there was a known source already out there somewhere. Also, would anyone who has seen these in person be able to tell me what color and material these were made of? Thank in advance!

Hi Alberto, they are black with white numerals.
This site may have them, though it's not working for me right now. http://www.shipsclock.com/ Let me know what you find out, Zaf |

Ahhh, excellent, thanks! I had seen a B&W picture of a similar one, but did not know if the black I was seeing was a reflection on a shiny surface or actually the color of the plate itself. The picture I showed above comes from the Navy technical repair manual for the Model 21 (Arlingtonbooks reprint), so I guess that they must have changed these over time, and that possibly several variations exist... Thanks a lot, Zaf (BTW, I LOVE the clock!!!).
