I have come across my grandfathers pocket watch. I am trying to find more information about this. I will try to post photo soon. It is a Hamilton silver or white gold with chain attached to pocket knife. Inside it says Hamilton watch co, lancaster pa. 452924. on the inner part it says 17 jewels adjusted, 912, 3201942. the center of the watch face has some sort of starburst design, and a second smaller dial. Has anyone seen this watch before? |

Your Hamilton is a Grade 912 12-size 3/4 plate double roller 17 jewel openface watch. The 3201942 serial number dates production to about 1938. It's a relatively common watch that doesn't have a huge market value... about $100-150 in good condition with a gold-filled case. Greg |
