I recently inherited a hamilton watch and am looking to determine it's age and learn more about it. on the inside back case it says Hamilton Watch Company Lancaster PA guaranteed 25 years with the number 9109979. On the Mechanism itself, it says again Hamilton Watch Company with one set of numbers that read 2004206 and then another set of numbers tht read 986. It appears to be made of gold, though I'm not sure what type.

Thanks!

Pamela

Try this website:

http://www.vintagewatch.info/

Let us know what you find out. Movement serial number information is there as well.

Good luck,
