First post to this site, appreciate any info in advance...I have a Ladies Hamilton Bracelet watch with the following specs: Movement 2051922, Case 214962, 17 Jewel, with an additional number of 986 engraved on the movement. It also looks like it has a second hand sub dial located at the 6:00 position (the face is in pretty bad condition due to it's missing the crystal). Can send picture if necessary.

Basic question now is would it be financially smart to have this watch restored? Assuming $150-$300 to complete this. What is its worth now and what would it be worth after restoration? From what I've found, it was made 1924 and it still runs.

Hi. It looks like a small pocket watch conversion
to a wrist watch, is the case gold?

From what I know, it's all original, no conversion. There's no indication of gold content, but there is noticeable wear along the edges of the case as can be seen in the pictures. Here's a picture of the original box and the inside of the case. It states Bracelet watch. I believe the movement number is mistaken for the serial number on the box. I think the movement is 986 and serial is 2051922, case is 214962.

Very cool to have the box like that proving that it's a very early wrist. It is gold filled when they say "guaranteed 25 yrs". I still don't think it's worth a ton of money though.
