I saw this watch on ebay right before it was going to end. Item number: 5032586624

I don't know much about Hamilton but this watch appealed to me so I bid on it. However, I lost and now I was wondering if I should have bid higher or was I already over the top.

Can anyone tell me more about it? Thanks.

Ahh, good. No response is even better. That means I got lucky when I was out-bid. :-)

I'd pass on that watch...not the right shape, cheap Swiss movement. Spend $100 more and get one of the 1940s or 1950s classic Hamiltons. It would be money better spent.

It is Hamilton's green gold Cushion Form model, with a plain bezel, and total production of 2943. The average selling price on Ebay for one of these in above average running condition is $310.

I recently purchased a Hamilton ladies 14kt white gold dress watch, marquise shaped with diamonds on the case and lug, stainless mesh band, circa 1950's. Does anyone know the model name or approximate value??

I don't know the name, value will be close to the value of the precious materials of the case.

Hi Zaf, thanks for your reply. No idea on the era or production name? I guessed '50s but now think '60s or '70s. I'm surprised that it's value might only be, basically, as scrap metal :-( Especially if the diamonds are real, unlike some milgrain they spark nicely. Ladies watches seem undervalued in general.

Well, its scrap + diamond value. So what ever that is, a jeweler should be able to approximate better than I. I'd say late 1950s, early 1960s, I do not know the model name.
