For your consideration, is an elegant example of a 1938-1940's vintage solid 14K yellow gold Hamilton "Brockton" tank style watch with the classic curved body and 18 kt. numerals on the satin gold dial and a restored and cleaned very high grade damascened 982 movement. The case measures 38 1/2mm long by 22mm wide, not including crown, and is marked 14KT Gold S&W on the back and on the inside "Brock, Hamilton W. Co., Lancaster, Pa., 14K Gold, S&W. The condition is MINT, which includes just a few light cuff scratches associated with a well cared for watch of this vintage, with no dents or dings, and no personalization. The watch has been kept in a safety deposit box since I acquired it around 1990. It was restored by a local NAWCC member to it's original brushed gold beauty in 1989 and it has 19 jewels, including a satin gold dial with a sub second bit at the 6. Signed "Hamilton" in block with the original gold hands also. It features a movement that is of a high grade, perhaps one of Hamilton highest, the 19 jewel manual wind Hamilton Grade 982 Medallion with the raised Gold "HW" Medallion that is running great and was recently evaluated as being in excellent running condition by another NAWCC member. Lastly, this classic and curved Hamilton "Brockton" comes with a correct glass crystal, which perfectly matches the curve of the case and a new black leather strap is included. It is truly a wonderful collectable example of a Hamilton classic and it can be yours for $600.00 Buyer to pay an additional $13.00 for priority insured shipping in the US. I accept Wire Transfers, Cashiers Checks and Money Orders that will insure shipping within 3 days upon their arrival. The watch will only be sold to a person residing in the U.S. and I will offer a 7-day unconditional return privilege minus shipping charges. contact silverbacker@netscape

Your watch is a "Brock," not a "Brockton." The Brockton looks similar, but the Brockton is 10k gold, not 14k. The Brockton was produced later than the Brock, and uses a different movement (calibre 754 or 770). |

And on top of that, this is not a sales forum. |
