I just got handed down my grandfathers watch. it is a Hamilton with the name in cursive on the front. It has a silver(steel?) case with a blank back and the same pattern around the front and back edges(sort of a fat IXXI repeat pattern). It is open faced. The serial number of the guts is 1135659. Also says 21 jewels, 992, Hamilton watch co. Lancaster, Pa, double roller. I don't know much about old pocketwatches. Can anyone tell me a little about this and what it might be worth? it's in pretty good shape and keeps excellent time. Thanks |

I'll post pics later. I have a 921 Hamilton serial H834578 and another says H32761. It is a 21J and works perfectly, in the original plastic case, but a bit broken..the case that is. It has a gold chain and pocket knife attached to it. We live 30 miles from Lancaster and it was a 25 years od service gift from the Berkshire Knitting Mill in Wyomissing, PA A Wadsworth engraved gold case is also beautiful. Any help on values and how old? Thanks |
