I need help identifying the model of this 1950s era Hamilton Electric mens wristwatch. I liked the way the stem was at the corner, rather than the side of the face. I purchased it at an estate sale not running, took it to a watch guy and had a new battery put in. Now it runs like a charm as long as you're wearing it, but tends to stop running when you're not wearing it - is this common? The only marking is on the back "10K Gold Filled".Hamilton Electric watch

Have a Hamilton 14K white gold men's/leather strap wrist watch, diamond digits on dial.
secondhand bottom center in circle, case has 8 nodules 4 top 4 bottom
Need to know a value.
17 Jewels, 987A, 086402 circa 1920 or 1930

The watch at the top is called the Gemini II and was made around 1965. I have one of these also.

The problem you describe is very common to Hamiton Electrics, as modern batteries don't fit properly and sometimes require an adapter to make proper contact.
