Without a picture of the watch or additional information on the movement its hard to say. However, as far as I know, Hamilton never produced chronometer certified timepieces in the US (since the certification takes place in Europe). Therefore I would assume this timepiece was made after Hamilton shut down its Lancaster, PA facilities and after the name was sold to Societe Suisse pour l'Industrie Horlogere ("SSIH"). It would therefore probably have an ETA, or similar movement. It is something I have not seen before, and as a Hamilton collector, I would like to see an image of it if possible. Thanks for the question. Don |

I just bought the automatic "Linwood Viewmatic" Hamilton. Nice watch. I was impressed with its loss of one second per day timed for the first 4 days of ownership. This must be an ETA movement. But which one? What can you tell me about it? The beats per minute sounds really fast. Also I notice the manual that comes with it is very poor. Is this mineral glass or sapphire? how water resistant is it? Thanks, Iain |

Without an image showing a frontal view of the watch, its not possible for me to comment on the model. |

The watch has what you call a 'butterfly' buckle. I have managed to unclasp one side but still can't figure out how to put the strap through! Great if you could help. Thanks. |
