Wind watch. Rectangular 10k "RGP" gold bezel with stainless back & white face/gold letters and hands. Small second hand above "6". Inside says "HAMILTON 686, seventeen jewels". I believe it dates to the 1960's, possibly late 1950's. I have no paperwork, box, etc. I could upload a picture if necessary to help ID it. If not known, does anyone know where I can seek help?

I can't show the watch because it tells me that my uploaded photo is larger than 800x600, yet no matter what I do it still is too big. Any suggestions. Moderator can I email you the photo? Thanks! If so, email address?

Either reduce the size of your picture with any photo editing software or upload the picture to a photo hosting site like photobucket.com and post a link to your picture here.

A Hamilton watch with a 686 movement (which is Swiss-made) would probably date, as you guess, to the very late 1950s or 1960s.

Jimh, Zaf, or anyone who knows Hamilton's. I posted a picture of my watch on photobucket.com, as Jimh suggested but this site won't accept the link to photobucket--it got rejected and won't post. Help!! Any ideas? I'd be happy to email it to anyone who wants me to. Thanks!!!

Your watch is probably the Hamilton "Judson" model and dates to around 1964.

Value is probably $75-$100 or so.

Jim, Thanks much! That makes a lot of sense based upon when it was given to me and what someone offered me at wholesale. I appreciate your time and opinion!
