Hi, I would like to try and find a solid gold watch band for one of my Hamiltons (14K for '39 Brock or '49 Donald, or 10K for '55 Brockton). Whilst this appears to be a difficult task already, I don't even know what make to look for, except it won't say Hamilton. 'Speidel' could (or could not?) be a choice, but that's all I know which isn't quite enough. Who can help please? Buckles I noted little to no difference between Hamilton and Gruen buckles, as a matter of interest, did those come out of the same mold? Thanks a lot! Chris Schirren, Hamburg/Germany | ||

Chris, Hamilton rarely sold a man's solid gold watch with a solid gold bracelet, so you're correct in assuming you will not find one signed Hamilton. We offer solid gold vintage bracelets on our accessories page - check there to see if there is something that fits your needs. I doubt Gruen and Hamilton buckles were made by the same manufacturer, although they may well have been made in a similar style. Best wishes, Don | ||

I have a 14K braclet that will fit your watch perfectly. I purchased it with a Hamilton Glenn and replaced it with a crocodile strap. It is on the samll side for a small wrist however. [email protected] |
