I recently recieved as an heirloom my father (and his) Hamilton pocket watch. Serial #649641
Photos attached. It showes wear Grandpa got it when he went to Alaska in 1908 for the long days and gave it to my father when he joined the marines in 1944 (he carried in on Iwo Jima and in Nagisaki as a corpsman.)It has Hamilton on the face in fine cursive script and I hope this tells which model it is because most Hamiltons have block print. Thanks for any help

Hello,
It is ironic but i just recieved my great grandfathers watch which is identical to yours and I live in Alaska. I am curious as the model and value on mine also. I do not have the coin or chain attached to mine but the clip is still attached. My grandfather work for catapillar and fireman. I am patiently waiting any information. I can send photo if needed but it is pretty much exactly like that. I unscrewed the lens and there is a little metal pull out tab but that is as far as i got because i dont want to break it. You can email me back at [email protected] if you would like or if you have any questions. TY .. Mat
