Hello, could anyone clear up a little confusion for me? I recently purchased a 14K gold Hamilton thinline thinking it was ~60s vintage. But its mechanical movement says 'Hamilton watch co. 687' but also 'swiss'. From what I've read here about Hamilton changing from American to swiss hands quite recently where does this put my watch date wise. Either way Its a good looking piece. Thanks for your help |

Hamilton bought out the "Buren" factory in the late 1960s and used some of their movements. This is probably what you have. Zaf |

Thank you Zaf. To someone like me, who has just started collecting watches, this website is absolutely brilliant. Thanks again. |

I have a ladies Hamilton watch. The face is very small and has heart designs where the band attaches. It says Hamilton on the back of the case and 14K GF and l&K or L8K. I can't make it out for sure. This was bought in the 1940's or early 1950's. What would it be worth if I sell it? Thank you. |

Low value, sorry, gold filled ladies watches are not in demand. |
