I have a basic question about Hamilton Watch Movements. Are they interchangeable? In other words, can I take a wristwatch movement 770 and place it in another watch that requires a 770 movement?

Or, in another example. I have one dead watch with a 745 movement. Can I buy a watch with a good 745 movement and take that good 745 movement and put it in the other case?

Or are there other issues involved?

Thanks for any help.

The same grade movement should be interchangeable with another.
