Hello I have an old Hamilton flip face wristwatch I got from ny grandfather (surprise), it is 14k and us patent #1930416. I cannot find a single thing about this watch, Could you help.

Looks like a Hamilton Otis, are you sure it is solid 14K?

It does look like an "Otis" cal 980 or 982 which both are very good. Otis is fairly rare for it was a violation of the JLC-Reverso patent and only made for a short time. I would assume it is 14K gold filled, not solid.
