I have acquired my grandfathers pocket watch and I am looking for information on it. This is what is on the watch. Hamilton watch Co. Lancaster PA. 992. 21 JewelS. Double Roller. Adjusted 5 Positions. Serial #1565424. This says Hamilton at the top written in cursive. The hands are blue. I assume this is a second hand at the bottom. The only numbers on the second hand are 10 20 30 40 50 60. This is an open face watch with a very nice ornamental design engraved on the back. Inside the back cover it says warranted 25 years. There is a 2 bladed pocket knife with it that has ornamental designs engraved on the sides. The watch currently does not work but if you look inside of it all of the parts look beautiful. The stem appears to wind fine. I would like to try and have this watch repaired. Are parts still available? I am not concerned about the value of the watch as the only value to me would be sentimental. Also does anyone know how to set this watch? Many thanks in advance to anyone who may respond to this post.

You set the watch by unscrewing the bezel. There will be a small lever at 2:00 that you can slide up towards 12:00. Once you do that the watch can be set.

Parts are available, we can handle the repair here is desired.
