I have a ladies 18K pocket watch on an antique chain; marked inside cover with 21 Z. Outside covers are without engraving. The white face is marked TiffanyNy. It's an elegant, hand wound heirloom of app. 1-1/4 " diam. Can anyone give me more information?-- dates, value? |

I do not know. Tiffany is valued generally by which manufacturer actually made the watch. Without photos and the case & movement, this can not be determined. |

21Z sounds like a 1950s Longines movement. Longines made watches for Tiffany, but the dial shouldn't be signed TiffanyNY... rather "Tiffany & Co." With the proliferation of fake Tiffanys (watches with refinished dials with the Tiffany name added by unscrupulous dealers), I would probably investigate originality closely. Value of the watch with the Tiffany name on the dial is probably 50% higher than the same watch with the Longines logo on the dial, which is why so many dealers are tempted to refinish dials and add the Tiffany name.
