Hi, I have a old Waltham watch. It's gold with a serial number on the inside of the lid. Does anyone know what the value is? | ||

There is a Waltham web site www.oldwatch.com where you can date your watch. It won't give you a value, but once you have a date it will help you to compare it to others like it that are for sale. Remember, that if you watch has a case, the number on the inside of the case is not the number to use to date your watch. ONLY the number that appears on the bottom of the gear case will tell you the age of the watch. The number on the case will give you an idea about the case. When watches were originally sold, the watches and cases were sold seperatly and put together once the puchaser made their selection. | ||
