Hi, everyone...
I came across a gold-filled pocketwatch with the name "Waldemar" on the face. Looks like it's from the late 1800s/early 1900s. Can't locate anything on it at all.

I've also picked up a swiss wristwatch with a 40-hour power reserve window in the face and the brand name "Geneve" and "Indimatic" above and below the window. Is this the same company that makes "Universal Geneve?" If not, what can you tell me about this watch?
I'd appreciate anything you can tell me about these two watches. they came along with a lot of 5 or 6 watches i picked up from a local antique dealer the very hour they arrived..the lot included a 1940s near-mint Hamilton Masterpiece 14 k in the original clamshell box!The Waldmar doesn't work--can't set it or wind it--and the Geneve winds, but only works down to 28 hours. It's an automatic, too. Any thoughts?

Hi. Geneve would not be "Universal Geneve" and I have not heard of Waldemar. I think you have some fairly generic pieces that are probably of low value.

The indimatic movement was made by Ball. I have one also but the dial says Garland over the reserve indicator and automatic under. Opened the back and it is a Ball indimatic 17 jewel movement apparently produced 1950-54 and sold to differnent companies to put in their own cases. Mine actually has a Ball case and movement. It keeps perfect time and I bought it on ebay for $22 not really knowing what I was bidding on.
