Bulova Quartz
I was wondering if you could tell me anything about my watch. The model number on the inside is C977482. I was wondering if it is worth anything, if I should have it appraised or insured. I have not been able to find anything on the internet about this watch. Thank You!

The Brand is Bulova and it is a Quartz. I don't know how to tell what the case is made of.

It won't be worth much sorry. Quartz Bulovas is not what collectors are after.

Have a silver Waltham pocketwatch that was my Dad's. The serial number inside the case is 70118. Would like any info on age, place of manufacture, value, or any information. Thank you for your time.

Zaf,

I found this watch. Its round, made of some type of metal and has hand thingys on it. I think it says something on the dial, too. No pictures. I may be able to upload some fuzzy, useless pictures from 100 yards away next month when my pinhole camera comes back from the shop. Can you tell me what make & model my watch is, when (exact date) it was made, what its worth and what color shirt the watchmaker was wearing when he made it?

Obviously, the above request is a joke. Don't you just hate it when you get appraisal/info requests with no useful info to work from? People must think you're not just a watch expert, but also clairvoyant.

I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 100. See if you can guess!
