I am looking to find out the value for insurance purposes for my Grandfathers Lord Elgin Pocket Watch. It was given to him in 1957 from his company. The inside cover reads "Elgin 543 USA, 8 Adjustments, 21 Jewel. The case is 14k Gold with a serial number M371274. The Face has the Lord Elgin name over the seconds movement which has no numbering. There is a logo under the 12 number which consists of 3 letter C's of different sizes. The pocket watch still has its original case and dust cover and is in near mint condition and runs perfectly. I have searched the internet and come up with nothing close, any help would be greatly appreciated. |

With gold as high as it is today, it won't be substanitally above the value of the gold. So call it gold + $200 since it has a box, etc. |

What else is on the insides? I can't tell what the case is made of from your description. |
