hi zaf. first of all, thanks for all your help. now i have a question for you. i have an original first edition minnie mouse watch, complete with cheap plastic yellow band, which has seperated on one side, but i can't replace it because it will destroy the originality of the watch. so my question is, what is the value of the watch, and more importantly, where can i sell it? do you personally know of any disneyana web sites or collectors that would be interested in it? it is the first edition, the one made by ingersoll which eventually became timex. the latest info i could find on it was from collectors weekly website, and all they had was the 2004 price, which was $385. i spoke to the son of one of the guys who wrote the complete price guide to watches, and he told me it was valued between $600 to $800. can you please confirm? and like i said, do you know where i can sell it? thanks for your time, benita

Unfortunately, I know almost nothing about character wacthes. I think if you spoke to the Shuggart family, they are much more knowlegeable than I on this type of thing.
