I recently inherited a Bulova Tank that my grandfather received as an aniversary gift in 1945. I see a lot of references to quad signed, triple signed, etc. How do I seperate the movement from the case back, without destroying it, and what is the significnace of 3x or 4x signed? Is there a good book on vintage Bulovas that would answer these and more of my questions? Thanks. |

What is meant by 3x signed is usually signed on the dial/case/movement. What is meant by 4x can be anything, a signed crown, strap, etc. I'm not aware of any Bulova specific books. |

Probaly not a whole lot of value here, most likely from the 1940s-1950s. It says "Semi Thin" not "Veri Thin"? |
