My grandmothers pendant watch from the early 1900's (as best as I know), the case and pin are silver, five of the diamonds are missing. The hands are blued steel (correct for the period). Watch works well, seconds hand (small dial) doesn't work. Made by Gotham. Can anyone offer me an approximate value?Pams Watch

Are you sure the "diamonds" aren't foilbacks (synthetic stones with foil reflective backs). Costume stones were very common in this type of piece during this period. The fact that the mounting for the stones isn't drilled through to the back (letting in light for the diamond to sparkle) is usually a clue you're dealing with costume/synthetic.
