I have an older Timex watch that has the day wndow and date window. When I pull the stem out and turn the hands forward I can change the day window. Anyone know how to change the date window? I tried to turn the hands in the oppposite direction but that didn't work. |

I would also like to know how to remove the stem so the movement can be removed? Thanks |

hi. does the stem pull out two clicks? if so, might try pulling the crown out one click and turn clockwise to set the date number (maybe). then, pull stem all the way out and go forward 'til day changes, then go backward 'til the hour hand swings backward past the 10:00 (might hear or feel a faint click), then turn forward, past the 12:00, and (maybe) day will change. that's how my movado sets... |

The stem only pulls out one click. I can set the time and day but I've tried going backwards also but nothing will move the date. If I knew how to remove the stem I could possibly free up the date wheel. Thanks for trying, though. Brent |
