Hello - I'm new to this forum, with a mystery Coultre watch I'd like to identify. It's a vintage gold-filled watch, circa turn of the century, I think. It belonged to my grandfather, and I just recently found it in my dad's old stuff. Can anybody help? |

If you have the serial number of the movement, I can more precisely date it, but this model (I do not know the name with out spending a lot of time thumbing through catalogs) was made circa 1950. |

There's no serial number on the outside. However, I'm going to have it opened up to see if the broken crown can be repaired, and I'll get the serial number then. 1950 sounds about right come to think of it. My grandfather wouldn't have been able to afford it during the depression, and I doubt it was available during the war. He must have aquired it before died in the early 50's. |
