This is a picture of my watch with model 112.5.89. If you look at the first picture, at the top, it has calibre 889/2 (this may not be clear to you because I have to shrink the picture)next to the serial number. Then the "gold color" wording says it is 33 jewels and adjusted to 4 positions. This is confusing because I thought 889/2 has 36 jewels. Please shed some light about this movement. Is it possible this is a 889/1 and JL mistakenly engraved 889/2??

I'm sure they made that movement for a very long time and in-production changes were made. For this particular model, it won't matter either way! |
