I inherited this JLC ladies 18k watch from a family member who was a horologist. As you can see from the picture's the dial has a kind of marbled effect to it. I would like to know if this was intended to be or if its just damaged (the watch is brand new). The number on the back reads '1121894'.

They definitely made dials with these general themes. It looks OK to me, but you can tell for sure unless I have the watch in hand.
