Nice watch, simple and chic.

Am I to understand you got the vintage crown and buckle seperately? I'm kind of curious how that works - where or how?

Hi Herman, I've ordered the vintage crown and buckle by Huub Schins (Broqantique) in Maastricht, The Netherlands. He worked with a good watchmaker. Easy as that. See also my presentation in the subforum 'nieuwe aanwinsten' (new achiefments). http://www.dezinvanluxe.nl/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2997
You are welcome at the Dutch forum!

Nice watch. I'm looking for a buckle for a late 60s worldtime. Your buckle appears to be around that timeline.

JMO, but your crown looks off color, more a pink gold than yellow. It's a good upgrade from your previous crown, but IMO, I would continue to look for a yellow gold JLC signed crown. It would be worth it in the long run.
