I have inherited this watch from my father who got it in the late sixties, all paper work is missing except a refurb invoice from JLC switzerland in'97. it has a stainless steel back with 6 digits on the back. It has 1 winder. the face seems to be a brushed steel (?) outer ring with bevelled pointers for the numerals the top one having jaeger lecoultre under it, at the inner edge of the outer ring face are blue numerals 1 to 31 just odd , i.e. 1,3 5,7...The inner circle of the face is also brushed steel (?) with a bevelled pointer for the date pointer and the centre of it has the 3 hands. The case number is 579347 and the mechanism number is 024777 And yes I know the photo is a bit blurry.

It's late 1950s, movement caliber 810. The case reference nu,ber may be stamoped on the inside of the case back, that's pretty much the model number. Value if in good original condition is in the $800 range.

Thanks for the help Zaf, much appreciated, it is without a strap any suggestions for a strap that would be authentic for the watch?

Not really. The original straps came in many types of leather from plain smooth leather to crocodile. Just install what ever you like.

Ira,
If you need scans of the watch in ss case or the same model in a 14k yg case, please let em know. NOS dials are available for this model and would spruce up your watch.

The reason the post disappear is that I keep getting hit by spam. If this continues, I will have no other choice than to require registration.

Right now you do not need to register, but if I can't control spammers from posting to the board, I will require registration.
