Hi, Thanks for your response to my previous query (about Forties JLC). I have another question. Checking out vintage JLC's I seem to notice two different buckle styles. One is with the JL logo projecting (as it were) from the buckle; the other one is with the logo punched in the buckle. My impression is the latter type is of a later date. Is this correct, and is there any idea when the "projecting" type was replaced by the "punched"? Thanks, Herman |

I have guesstimated mine to be from the 60s, would this fall in your projecting type ? ![](https://www.classicwatch.com/discus/messages/622/8632.jpg) |

I didn't know that kind of vintage buckle. Were there at least 2 styles of buckle in the 60's ? |

I am interested in a buckle for my late 60s Worldtime Memodate. Anyone have pictures of this type of buckle? Please post a pic or link of a pic. Other JLC buckle pics would also be appreciated. |

Thanks! The one Arctis posted is what I previously called the one with the "projecting" logo. The one Abba posted I had frankly never seen before. |
